The primary mission of the SCJFF is to familiarize the Santa Cruz area with high quality independent film based on Jewish themes.     We are proud to celebrate the richness and diversity of Jewish experience through the magical lens of film.

Our goal is to increase awareness of Jewish culture, history, and identity while building bridges of understanding through film. Each year we take you on an eye-opening global journey facilitating diverse Jewish cultural awareness.

Over a two week period , our Festival program educates through evocative, award-winning independent feature and documentary films that portray the Jewish experience. Our programs provide a dynamic forum for exploration of and dialogue about Jewish experiences around the world.
